I have a problem with ntdbsmgr.ext taking up 1,200,000 k of memory which causes the OS to write to disk.  Using Task Manager and Performance monitor I'm able to see the spike in resources (when memory rises in task manager, writes to disk are non existing however i will see a drop in memory to around 400,000 k and at the same time disk writes go through the roof. This continous to happen eventually bring the system to a halt).

I have tweaked the engine and clients but this has not helped, please advise.

I'm currently running Pervasive ver 10 on a windows 2003 server with 300 users on 4 terminal servers and 100 workstations.  There are also lots of MS Access databases running on that same server.  Not sure if these should be moved to another server.

A few questions:
- WHat are your settings?  Specifically, what is your cache allocation set to?
- What exact release of v10 are you using?
- How much RAM do you have on the server?
