Topic: vb error

After the rebuild is finished, I remove the old file and rename the rebuilt one to the original name.  My database has 48 files.  Certain files (and I am not sure why these particular ones) cause VB to crash with the infamous send/don't send message. Even if I rebuild only the "bad" files, VB crashes. I have had this happen with both versions 8 and 9 of pervasive. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
